Time to enjoy lunch, these guys seem to say.
I bring greetings from the church here in Fort Portal, our church has been blessed to have a visitor from the States. It was great having you here Brother Scott. Last Sunday Brother Scott shared about the LOVE OF CHRIST; he encouraged Christians to love one another so that our lives can reflect Christ in us and for the good and development of our community. It was such a moving sermon with lots of people nodding their heads in agreement with him.

During service brother Scott and I baptized 22 people into the Lord’s family. I thank the lord for enabling us do his will last week. The work of the lord here is very, very promising. What is taking place here right now is a gospel explosion and I thank you for being part of it with prayers and support you offer to the lord’s ministry.

We had over 300 people in attendance last Sunday. After baptisms we had lunch, African poems and traditional dances all in honor of our friend and brother Scott. What we did is traditionally done for only friends.

During his time here, Scott got to meet lots of our friend up in government offices both here in Fort Portal and in Kampala. We had very encouraging meetings with these men including a government minister. Many came to church to listen to the gospel that we ran out of space in the building that we decided to hold all the other events outside the church building.

You are an encouragement brother, you brought a lot of healing, love and encouragement with you for us and we thank you for we received it all. God bless you

We look forward to more friends and brothers of our coming to visit us.

Enjoy some of our photos here please.
