Christians getting ready to go the river for baptisms

Dear brothers and sisters in the lord. I thank you so much for the prayers you always say to the Lord over the ministry here in Uganda. Last Sunday Nov 25th we had 34 baptisms in the river here in Fort portal. It was great seeing men and women give their lives to the Lord. Brother Dick and I (Ronald) led the baptisms however we were not able to right away write and post pictures of the baptisms because we haven’t had electricity in the whole town for over 5 days. Brother Vincent shared about Giving Our Lives To Jesus during church service while brother Michael was in charge taking pictures during the baptism but as he was taking the photos, the battery went dead so we were not able to have a few peoples pictures taken among those baptized. Vans were hired so as to take people to the river and brother Dick also brought his dad’s small truck so as to take Christians to witness their friends being baptized. We also did not have ALL the baptized people’s picture taken but all in all it was fun seeing our brothers and sisters taking Jesus for themselves. All glory to God the creator of the heavens and the earth.

Please pray for the 34 who gave their lives to the Lord

Enjoy the pictures please.

CLEANING THE RIVER FOR BAPTISMS

On Saturday before the baptism day, brother Tadeo, Richard and I went to the river to clean it so that we could prepare it before we could use it for baptism. The two men removed lots of decayed weeds, dirt, plastics and old used truck tyres. They also cut the busy around the river. Here are the men working so hard to make the place nice. Thank you God for these men who love and are ready to serve at all times. Bless them dear God

LITTLE GIRL ABANDONED BY THE RIVERBANKS

Please joins us as we pray for the little kids who are abandoned by their parents. Continue praying for the very many out there that do not have the opportunity to listen to and obey the lord's word.

Thank you so much for offering prayers for the work of the lord that is being carried out here in Uganda and the so many parts of the world

Our abandoned little sister with her guardian, please remember to pray for them today

Dear friends, brothers and sisters in the Lord, we continue thanking you so much for your prayers and support to the young ministry her in Fort Portal Uganda. The Lord is continually blessing his ministry because a new soul is added to his kingdom everyday. Thank you God for using brother Dick, brother Vincent and I and the so many others that you have added to your ministry. Today during service, seven people accepted Jesus as their personal lord. Next Sunday after church we are going to go to the river and carryout a mass baptism, please pray that the riverbanks will not flood to scare away the would be baptized. Brother Ronald and Dick are going to be leading during baptisms.

Yesterday Saturday, a member of our church who every Sunday walks 3 miles to come and fellowship with us called me on my cell phone and asked to go to her home. Brother Vincent and I got on our bike and rode to her home only to find very many people gathered in her yard. We asked her what was wrong and she told us that she had found a beautiful little kid abandoned by the almost flooded riverbanks. People said that the intentions of the parent to the abandoned kid was to have her drown in the water and die but lucky enough the Lord still wanted her to live so he sent a Christian lady to rescue her. The new kid’s found mom was already struggling mom to three kids and was asking the church for some help but the lord has added another kid to her family. Brother Vincent and I offered prayers for her and her new kid and her entire family and we told her to bring the kid to church so the whole church could pray for her. She brought her new found sweet kid to church this morning and the entire church leadership prayed for her. Please take this lady’s family to God in prayer that he may provide for her needs.

Peace to you all

BUILDING THE LORD'S CHURCH

Thanks to all friends, brothers and sisters who continually pray and support the ministry here in Fortportal. The Lord's church here is growing everyday as witnessed by the number of people who turn up for church whenever we share christ and invite them to come fellowship with us. God has continued working in the lives of those we have shared with. Please continue praying for church and and the growth of the Lord's kingdom. Brother Dick and i and very many others with the Lord's call started this church in a small rented room of about 30 to 45 people thinking we would use it for atleast 3 to 5 months but God has changed the entire plan we had in mind because he is has allowed the growth of the church at a rate that is only his in that we have already run out of space to sit people because he is able.About three weeks a go on a beautiful sunday morning during church a brother in christ who had just given his life to christ fell off his seat and colapsed there and then so i had to stop preaching for a moment to offer him first aid for a few minutes. I could tell when i was preaching that brother Bagonza was sweating alot because of the too much heat in the room. That day we were over 100 in a 30 to 45 people room. All in all our brother recovered and he is well however right after this incident, brother Dick, Dan Vincent and i called an emergency meeting after church service to come up with a solution to the space problem. We had the previous sunday been offered a piece of land by a christian old lady to put up a church structure. so we came up with some money and we also share with the church the following sunday who also offered to give building poles and labour. We cleared the land, bought the building material and we built the church ourselves. Right now the structure is up although we have lots of unfinished work on the building due to lack of funds, we trust in God that he is Going to provide for his church building. Please continue praying for us and for the people in the villages where we are preaching christ. We hope to post pictures of the building soon.God bless you all
