GO YE THEREFORE

While the brothers were here we held an all ministry leaders meeting.
We also had lunch together.
Many were reached out to with the word and every we went many people turned to listen to Godly men speaking.
We are blessed to many children turn up in big numbers wherever we go, please pray for them for they are the tomorrow church and it is our responsibility to train live Godly lives and encourage them to look up to God.

We had an African traditional dance together with the vivsiting brothers and we were all very happy, thanks to you brother Gerald.

Our Sunday school music team presented great songs that left all of us very happy indeed.

Church could not seat all the people that communion was served was even served outside the building.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Mat 28:19-20

A team of brothers from the States has been here preaching Jesus from one village to another and I tell you it has been a great blessing to the church. Several months ago brother Dick, Vincent and I with Sisters Salina, Elizabeth and Joyce came together, prayed and fasted as we asked God to reveal to us the best way to reach out to the people with His word. Cell group meetings came to our minds and ever since we started meeting to share about Christ and eating together the church is everyday growing in numbers and in the process even when we get visitors who come to encourage and visit with us we take them around to share the experience and encourage the brothers and sisters in the lord in the many different cell groups. This is what exactly happened with the brothers that came to visit us for the last two weeks. They shared and prayed with us, encouraged us and held meetings with many different ministry leaders, ate with us and I promised to come back to encourage the church the more.

During their time here we shared with them about different ministry and asked to pray for us as we begin a very long journey in our spiritual lives.

We thank you so much brothers for the love you have for the Ugandan ministry and we pray blessings upon you. We miss you already for we were greatly inspired by you.

While the brothers were here we had an opportunity to take them around to many villages to preach Christ and people turned up in big numbers to listen so as to give their lives to Christ. Also, kids turned up in big numbers. The church has been blessed with lots of men who have got the heart to serve God and I thank the lord for such a gift to this young ministry because it is men and women like them that any young ministry will desire to have. Men and women with a burning desire to serve.

We ate together, danced to the African traditional music together and it all went well to the end.

Thank you so much brother Don, Mike and Scott for you visit with and God bless.

Bro Ronald and the entire Church.

WE GIVE THANKS TO YOU GOD.

Sister Joan was baptized on Saturday last week. Please for her as she starts her spiritual walk. What a great God we have to serve.
The lord has blessed His church with many happy souls. Thank you God

Old lady Malia with her new bible, she said she last owned in the 1940s. She has got a very good eye sight.

Because of the generous gift of the word by the brothers and sisters in Christ, many now have bibles to read and understand His word. Many shedded tears of joy.

Here is sister Erinora showing us her old bible right before she got a brand new one. She is very happy indeed. She must had had this bible for a very long time.

God bless the hands that gave toword the purchase of the these bibles.

Many brothers and Sisters in Christ like the Kahigwa's here raising their hands had bibles with many missing pages but now have complete ones. The two actually beleong to the evangelism team of the minsitry.

Every body gets one.

Here comes the brand new bibles.

Brother Mayanja giving out the food during our last Sunday benovelence day.

Here I am with my moslem friend who sent her great grand kid to call us for prayers in her house during our last Friday cell bible study. She is so sweet.

Here is the victorius evangelism team headed to peoples homes. I took many pictures and here I want to share them with you.

It is always fun when we are warmly welccomed in people's yards to share about Christ with their families.

Last Friday were able to reach many homes for Christ. Thank you so much father for such a team as this.

Many kids listen attantively to the brother sharing with them and their parents and guardians during the cell bible study.

Over fourty people attended the cell group bible study last friday during which four people gave their lives to Christ. Before we headed to peoples home to share and pray with them, we had hot coffee given to us by the cell leader. It was so great.

We have had six baptisms this week and we thank the lord that many are responding to His call.

The last many days have been such a blessing to the ministry here in Fort Portal and Uganda in general for the lord has enabled to us to accomplish many things.

We are very thankful to you brothers and Sisters in the lord who have made it possible for us to reach out to many with His word. We had such a great week with many events taking place. The young and the old have given their lives to Christ during the last days. We have had a number of baptisms taking place, we have visited many, many homes with His word and it has been very well received. Our evangelism team has grown in number and we are about to split it into two so we can reach many in the process.

Last Friday we had such a great cell group bible study during which four brothers and sisters gave their lives to Christ. Moslem families invited us to pray them in their houses and I tell you we were indeed moved by how thirsty people are for His word.

We are very thankful to our brothers and sisters in the lord who have generously given toward the purchase of bibles, thank you very much for such a beautiful gift of the word.

Lots of tears of joys flowed in the church as we were giving out the bibles. After giving these bibles out, an old grandma of 99 years came to me and held my hand and said “ I give glory to God for giving this bible to me because I last owned one in 1948” She later on told me that she is going to read it everyday to her two great grand children. She is called Malia.

Also, last Sunday was our benevolence day and lots of food was given to the less fortunate of our congregation and community. Many thanks to you brothers and sisters who brought the food and clothes.

On Friday during our cell group bible study in village about miles from the church I had met an old Moslem lady of 111 years who has been bed ridden for the last 20 years. She is a very sweet lady and I enjoyed meeting, sharing about Christ and praying with her. She heard we were in the neighborhood so she sent one of her great grand sons to tell us that she would like us to over to her house and pray for her and so we went over and prayed with her after sharing about Jesus with her.

After our cell bible study we went to many peoples homes to pray with them and we were welcomed in all these homes. After prayers we invited them to church and I tell you we were amazed at the turn up on Sunday from last Friday invitation. Because of the big turn up, communion last Sunday was even served outside. The member had to stand out so as to create seats for the visitors and to make them feel comfortable.

God bless you brothers and sisters as you continue to pray and support the lord’s work here in Uganda and the whole world in general.
