God thank you so much for our brothers and sisters, we bless your name lord

Dick and Dan we need you at work, be healed in the name of Jesus

Hello our brothers and sister in the Lord. Happy new year to you.

I thank you so much for your prayers this week. It was a very busy week for all of us as you have seen in the pictures. Brother Dick and Dan were in charge of the construction of the church floor but they both did not complete the work. Dick was taken very ill to the hospital suffering from acute Malaria and Typhoid. He was admitted for 3 days but thank God he was discharged this Monday morning and told to rest for about ten days before he can resume his work. Brother Dan had what we thought was a heart attack and a stroke. One side of his body was paralyzed. He was taken to the hospital and diagnosed and found to have a damaged nerve that connects to his brain. The doctors said that he has to go and see a specialist to confirm their findings and when it is confirmed as they think, they told him that he has to seek urgent medical attention. Please take Brother Dan and Dick’s name to the Lord in prayer.

I have spent most of the week making sure I am with my dear friends. Brother Dan asked his doctor yesterday if he could attend church and the doc told him that it is ok. He came to church and we were all delighted to see him.

We also had the church sign post made during the week as well as completing the church floor work although we did not have everything done on the floor. I hired trucks to bring the construction material so that we could finish the work once this week. When the guys were admitted, there was a big vacuum left because they were directly being in charge of construction.

Our church service was great yesterday Sunday , we prayed for the ministry, all our friends and 7 people gave their lives to Jesus Christ. Men prayed for me. They asked God to strengthen me during this time when my friends are sick and away. These two brothers are a very big part of the ministry.

We pray to God to continue building his kingdom throughout this place because many out there have not heard about Jesus. We real want to be able to reach out to many that have not been reached out to this year.

Pray for the two fishers of men that they may recover soon and rejoin the few other fishers so that God’s name may heard in all places these men go to.

To all of you brothers and sisters in the Lord who have sent us e-mails praying for our brothers’ quick recovery, thank you so much. I have printed every message and have read it to them and I tell you my brothers have greatly been very encouraged. Thank you very much for the love, care and concern you have exhibited to all of us.

God bless you.

24 SAINTS ARE ADDED TO THE FAMILY OF GOD

Today was such a great day for us all here in the church. The service was conducted by brother Dick, Vincent and I. We all talked about salvation. We spoke about salvation because we were focusing on baptism. During service 4 people gave their lives to Jesus and the total of those who wanted to be baptized went up to 24 people. We had the whole week teaching on baptism to 20 people.

It was great seeing the old and the young accepting Jesus as their personal Lord and savior. Brother Vincent and I carried out the baptism part of our service. Among those who gave their lives to Jesus were two Moslems by the names of Muhammad and Jamilah. We are very thankful to the Lord for adding to the saints here in Fort Portal.

We thank you brothers and sisters who are praying for the ministry here in Uganda. We are so amazed at what the Lord is doing. It is very exciting indeed.

During our midweek service, a lady who was very drunk came to church crying and begging Jesus to forgive her of her sin of drinking. My sisters and brothers in the Lord and I prayed for her. She said she wanted Jesus Christ to make her whole once. Well, today she came to church and it was real exciting to hear speak to the congregation. She asked us to pray for her and we did. We hope she continually seeks the Lord because she real needs him. Could you please for this lady? Her name is Margaret but she locally called Maaga.

We thank all those who are praying for this ministry and we pray that the Lord may continually bless you.

We are very thankful for what the Lord has done thru out this week and in the lives of all of us who believe in and trust God.

Please pray for the spiritual babies that were born of him today.

You have a blessed and wonderful Christmas season.

HIS KINGDOM GROWS STRONGER EVERYDAY

Today was a great day at church. Many gave their lives to Jesus. People came from all over the villages where brother Dick, Vincent, Dan, Tadeo, sisters Joyce, Salina and I have been preaching the gospel this week. Our church building was filled up this morning with people. This is a gospel explosion taking place in the villages surrounding our meeting place.

During the week we visited a witch’s home to share Christ with her and to our amazement she was very receptive which is common with the witches to men holding bibles. We shared the lord's message with her, invited her to church with her husband Mohamed and they all came this morning.

Ever since the lord’s church was established in this village, there has been a lady who has been giving us lots of trouble but today she came to church and she found me sharing about God who When Sought After, Forgives Us of Our Sins. During Church service this lady accepted Jesus as her personal lord and savior

She is called Katusiime. She was troubling us because she saw us a threat to her witch craft business. She came along with her family of two and they all accepted Jesus. God is able indeed.

In total, 12 people accepted Jesus as their lord. They have been added to those that we have been teaching about the importance of Baptisms.

The other thing I would like to mention to you is the encouraging comments from the local leaders in the area starting with the lowest village leaders to the bigger local leaders. They have been very instrumental and supportive of the church activities in our operational areas. Please continue praying for the continued harmonious co-existence
People here love the way the Church of Christ worships. They like the way the church baptizes by immersion. We have also had great comments about how gentle we conduct our services. We have heard people saying they like our Church because we take communion every first day of the week. All these comments have been encouraging and motivating.

I thank you brothers and sisters for your continued and unwavering support to the lord’s ministry here in Fort Portal in particular and the whole country as a whole.

Please pray for us as we prepare for the upcoming mass baptisms on the Dec 23rd.

Brother Abooki who’s other name is Nembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo has today bid farewell to the lord’s congregation here in Fort Portal.

We also would like to pray and welcome all our brothers and sisters in the lord who have joined his ministry all over the world. May God bless you all

DEAR GOD THANK YOU FOR JESUS

Here are the beautiful Twins enjoying themselves. Dear father in Heaven I thank you so much for these brothers in the lord, bless them dear God
We are all very happy today, thank you so much God for loving us. We bless your precious name

Brother Abooki delivering the lord's message this morning. Thank you father for your son Jesus in whose name we find peace, love and joy.

Hello our brothers and sisters in the Lord. Thank you so much for praying for the lord’s ministry here in Fort portal Uganda. The lord continues to bless his work here, many are accepting Jesus as their personal lord and savior and we give all the glory to God in heaven.

Today’s sermon was delivered by brother Abooki from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Brother Abooki comes from the church of Christ in Congo although the church there is called Cafeza. His sermon’s theme was God Answers Our Prayers. It was great and motivating for all of us.

Brother Abooki and I have known each other for over 4 yrs since. He came to Uganda after fleeing Congo during the war in the year 2003. He left in Uganda back to Congo by he and I kept in touch till he came back about a week ago to check on his family he left in Uganda. Abooki speaks Swahili and French languages. He taught in Swahili today and brother Odomel translated into the local Rutooro language.

We were very motivated by his message because most people here needed to realize that God listens and answers our prayers.

Whenever I preach I tell people that \God is able and that nothing is impossible with God and I am glad brother Abooki shared with us that God answers our prayers whenever we seek his help.

During service, a couple accepted Jesus as their lord and they brought their twin kids forward so we could pray them. The mother of the twins had never been to church till today, she said she had never ever in her 30 yrs old life believed that God could ever accept her because as she says” She sinned a lot before God and she did not think God could ever forgive her’’. Tears were rolling down her cheeks as she was speaking. Her name is Kajumba.

Her twins boys are so cutie and very health looking. Please pray for this family that they may continue seeking the lord’s face.

This week is going to be a very busy week for us here because brother Vincent, Dick, sister Salina, Joyce, Elizabeth and I are going to be moving house to house preaching and praying and inviting to church so please put us in your prayers.

We are also going to meet to come up with different ministries geared at spreading the gospel in the communities where we live.

Till we meet here again, God bless you and have a great week.

WONDERFUL SUNDAY SERVICE

Here is Hassan in the middle with the christians with whom I teach him ( Hassan) to walk with the lord. Hassan was born in a very strong Islamic family but he gave his life Jesus last Sunday after brother Dick and I sharing with him. Please pray for him and many others who have not heard about Christ.

Last Sunday we had a wonderful service, many including Moslems gave their lives to Jesus during service when brother Vincent and I shared about the love and goodness of Jesus Christ. The lord indeed is changing peoples lives here.

Everyday is an opportunity for us to share Christ with others and that is what we do because we love God with all we have got. Today brother Dan gave up signing a construction contract to move with us to the villages preaching to the lost. Father God thank you so much for blessing your church here on earth.

Please continue praying for the work of the lord all over the world.

God bless you
