NEW HOME IS BUILT

Here is Randy Akiiki and Ray Amooti giving candy to the little ones after Sunday service
One of the Sisters who accepted Christ during outreach with our Brothers is being baptized.

Here I am having lunch with my new found pal. The old man's name is Seezi (Seth) he is in his 80s. Please remember him in your prayers.

The job is done, the hut now has a fresh roof and walls and together we rejoice with Seezi. Thank you so much God for these young boys and girls and for the energy and love you have given them.

New mud and wattle walls were made for Seezi and his four grand kids.

I was in charge of making sure it did not rain on the Seezi family so I took care of making sure a had a well made grass roof. Thanks go to all the young boys and girls who tirelessly worked the roof.

The family that works together accomplishes so much more, here are the guys making sure the mud and wattle is well made.
Seezi's Grand kids are have that we made wall for them. May God bless these kids and may they grow to serve him. I asked Arnold on the right what he wants to be when he grows up and he he wants to read the bible. He is about 7 yrs.

Mr Seezi taking out his only belongings so that we could have room to do our work.

As the others went to the well to get water, others dug the grounds for the wattle while these went out in the fields to cut grass for Seezi's roof.

Seezi with is spear he uses for his protection against any would be wild animal attack on his him and his family. He lives near a very forest full wild animal. When I asked him if he has ever used his spear against wild attacks he told me he used once when he was attacked by wild pigs (Warthogs) on his way to the well to collect water.

Sister Selina in the white dress and Rebbecca standing with with the newly baptized in Christ at the stream. Selina gave us the land where we built the church building. She said we could use the land till when the lord blesses us with ours. We are praying to God to give us land and please joining us in prayer for this need. Land is a very property and valuable asset.

Brother Apollo, welcome to the family of believers.

Dear my Brothers and Sisters in the lord Jesus Christ I bringing greeting from the saints here in Fort Portal. The lord’s kingdom here continues to grow as the word is being spread in towns and in the villages in and around Fort Portal. I together with the evangelism team have been moving in the villages preaching and teaching Christ. Last Sunday three people three people gave their lives to Christ Jesus and we took them to the stream and baptized them.

I have not made any updates in the last three weeks because for one us a church we were blessed to have visitors for two weeks during which we learnt a lot from them about the work of God, we shared about a number of things about the lord’s church and the work here in Fort portal. Our Brothers shared about the love of Christ with us and walked with us in the villages sharing about Christ during which many accepted Christ as their lord. Thank you so much Brother Ray and Brother Randy. We miss you so much Brothers.

We did over 6 village outreach visits to different villages in and around where the church members come from. We were blessed by the lord that over 550 people came to church and got a chance to hear about Christ during one Sunday when our Brothers shared with us. We also got to visit the Pygmies locally known as Batwa to look into taking Christ to them for most of them (78%) have not heard about Christ.

Well, today I took the young boys and girls of the church to one of the villages to share Christ with one family thru helping to build repair and rebuild their old hut. The old man who I just found out after sharing and talking with him told me he is close to 90 years has been living in this hut for a very long time; he said it was build by his two kids who were died after they were attacked by Malaria in the same week. They left four little kids with them although their mamas are all alive they do not offer much help to them because they are also not so strong physically. After they found that they were HIV positive, they dropped the kids at their grandpa’s home so one of our Brothers was moved by the plight of this family and especially the hose they were living in so he asked the young men and girls to help so I asked them if that is some thing they would like to help that way and all responded in the affirmative so we took off this Monday morning and took the old hut down and put up a brand new one. We cut fresh grass and thatched the new hut, cooked and had lunch together with the whole family, took off some of our clothes and gave them to the family. It was fun for me because all the old man kept saying was” Thank you so much God, all Glory to you in heaven” For me that was very motivating.

It was fun for me all the way thru till when I slit my thumb finger open with the old man’s machete when I was gathering dry banana fibers in his neighbor’s plantain farm so that I could use them to tie his grass roof together. I did not know that I would be able to type up this update but the lord is good I was able to. Thanks to you father God.

Please pray for the young men and girls that they may continue sharing Christ in many ways because people are many that have not yet heard about Christ.

God bless you

Brother Ronald
