NICE SUNDAY WE HAD TODAY

I bring greetings from the Nations Church of Christ here in Fort Portal Uganda. The lord’s church continues to grow strong day by day. Today was a very beautiful day here at church. I preached on renewing our commitment to the lord and I tell you it was well received as evidenced by the number of those who gave their lives to Jesus during our invitation time. 25 people gave their lives to the lord today. Both men, women, boys and girls came forward and declared Jesus as their personal Lord and savior.

Those who have been Christians for a very long time but felt the need to renew their lives also came forward and were prayed for by our prayer team. Brother Dick’s distant relative from afar took pictures and he shared some with me here before he set off for Kampala our National capital where he lives. Kids, young men, old men and women sung great songs of joy during our worship time.

We are very excited by what God is doing here everyday thru men and women who I work with during our village outreaches.

God bless and please continue praying for us as we seek to serve the lord in these rural and urban parts of Western Uganda. We had over 264 people during the service that we had to lay mats on the church floor so that our little kids could have some where to sit.

Be blessed in the lord’s name

OUTREACH WEEK

My brothers and Sisters in the lord.

I thank you so much for the prayer you offer to God on our behalf. The lord is continually blessing us here. This week has been such a great week for the church here; many people have accepted Jesus as their personal lord and savior during our villages outreach evangelism days.

We have also had great things happening in the lives of some our brother and sisters in church here.

Today Brother Dick and I and some members of the congregation are going to have a meeting in preparation of our visitors. Please pray for us as we prepare for our visitors and also remember to pray for their safety during the journey.

The Church of Christ is growing rapidly is this region and we are so proud of what God is doing here. Last Wednesday during our midweek service we held special prayers for the orphaned and poor kids who have started their school term.

Please pray that the Lord may provide for these kids’ needs, as a church we have been approached by many kids and poor guardians for help but we have not yet been able to help however we are hopeful that the Lord will provide for them through the church some day.

God bless you
